Manifesto
Most AI tools are built and developed by and for startups. They assume you use platforms like Notion, Slack, or Salesforce with clean data and modern workflows. On the other hand, traditional tech service firms price their services for large corporations, operating on long timelines and high retainers.
But what about businesses still running on Excel, custom ERPs, and manual processes? No integrations, no clean datasets just years of accumulated know-how.
Forgotten.
While big players automate, your business is left behind, stuck in manual workflows without access to a modern software for your operations.
At Elai Labs, we build for the real economy. The kinds of businesses that don't chase headlines, but keep everything running, led by owners who work long hours, take real risks, and build with long-term vision.
These businesses are everywhere: they are our family, our friends, people who surround us. They may not be flashy, but they're essential and often overlooked.
They shouldn't have to wait for the right tools. They should be first in line.
Unlike many startups out there, our focus isn't on flashy chatbots or conversational interfaces: it's on operational excellence. Quote generation, invoice review, financial reconciliation, support triage… the tasks that slow you down and keep your teams stuck in manual work.
We use AI to build AI: fast, adaptable, and grounded in your operations. Each agent integrates with your tools, understands your workflows, and gets to work immediately.
The goal is simple: less time on what doesn't matter, more time on what does. This isn't about replacing people. It's about giving your team the leverage they've never had. So in the not-so-distant future, you can put your business on autopilot.
Safely. Intelligently. On your terms.
I grew up in a family of business owners. As a kid, I watched my father spend his evenings manually finding leads, validating invoices, fixing spreadsheets … Because at the time there were no available technology for his need.
Later, I studied at École des Ponts and UC Berkeley, then spent four years building AI systems in the U.S. And what struck me was this: even with all the technology now available, teams are still buried in the same kind of repetitive work. The tools exist, but they're still not reaching the people who need them most.
That's why I started Elai Labs. To close the gap between what's possible and what's actually being used. And to make sure real businesses don't get left behind.
